Objectives of the Group

We are a large and friendly Group, who are interested in the buildings and settlements of the local area. We arrange talks in the winter months and trips to towns, villages and individual buildings once the weather gets warmer. We have a varied programme which includes the ancient and modern, usually with knowledgeable local guides. Our tours often finish in the local pub or teashop!

We meet on the third Thursday of the month, generally at 10.30am. Some of our visits do have limited numbers and we have Booking Forms at the General Meetings where you can put your name down. If you have any questions, please phone Luke on 07774 251197.

ARCHITECTURE GROUP – ANNUAL REVIEW AND PLANNING

THURSDAY 20 NOVEMBER 2025 – 10.15am FOR 10.30am

WELTON VILLAGE HALL

For our last meeting of the year, please join us in the warmth and comfort of the Welton Room, where we hold our popular and friendly annual social event.

Tea/coffee and homemade biscuits will be served as you arrive. We will then recall and comment on our 2025 Architecture Group meetings, assisted by photos of the various visits.

We are in the process of compiling the Provisional 2026 programme and this will also be displayed and discussed. However, as there may be a gap or two, we welcome ideas and suggestions from members.

Our Visits Group Leaders, Rosey and Malcolm, will also be coming along to share their 2025 photos and plans for 2026.

A small charge of £2.00 per member will be payable at the door.

Please add your name to the Booking Form, which will be on the Architecture Group’s table at the October and November General Meetings, if you wish to attend this informal and enjoyable event.
